What is Naturopathic Medicine?

Naturopathic medicine is a distinct health care profession that combines the wisdom of nature with the rigors of modern medicine.

Our Naturopathic Doctors will dive into your body’s intricate and relational inner workings to help you gain insight into the larger picture of your health. Whether it is musculoskeletal, digestive, hormones, skin or mental health, we treat it all.

Naturopathic treatment modalities include regenerative injection therapy, functional medicine, herbal medicine, pharmaceutical therapy, physical medicine and acupuncture.

Initial appointments begin with a discussion of previous medical history, labs and imaging. A focused physical exam will be performed, including an ultrasound exam when indicated. The Naturopathic Doctor will create connections between symptoms and chief concerns, identifying the root cause and outlining steps for treatment.

Patients should bring with them a list of their current medications and supplements, any previous blood work or diagnostic imaging reports that they have.

The initial appointment is 60 minutes.
You and your doctor may decide that additional testing is necessary during your initial appointment. Blood, urine or saliva may be collected at the clinic during your initial consultation.
Patients referred to Friday Health for regenerative injection therapy by another practitioner may receive prolotherapy, prolozone or neural therapy at their initial appointment. Patients booked for an initial IV will receive intravenous therapy during their initial appointment if they are deemed good candidates for that therapy.
